RDS Team is united with the Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. The CEO itself recognizes the importance of getting screened and tested. In fact, after crossing the age of 50 years old, Gustavo regularly undergoes colonoscopy. Colonoscopy is a type of test used to detect changes in the colon and rectum. This is one of the first few screening tests to determine whether or not the patient has colorectal cancer.

Jumping on the challenges faced by executives in the healthcare industry, one thing they overlook is compliance with rules and regulations. “we always talk about HIPAA compliance and I always said HIPAA compliance is nothing more than, you know, at least make sure that you have for all of the measures in place to be on an efficient environment and sometimes nearly impossible to stop cyber attacks. But at least if you’ve done everything in your power to set up your environment so that the information is secure, you have the first line of defense and we live in a very litigious society so those are the little things that sometimes get overlooked by the organization,” Gustavo stated.
