HP Printer and Copier Repair in Florida

HP puts more machines into Florida offices than any other manufacturer, which means most businesses here end up with at least one — and eventually with one that has stopped.

RDS Team repairs HP equipment across Florida with a contractual four-hour on-site response, using our own technicians rather than a subcontracted service company. Most of the machines we are called out to were sold by somebody else, and that is fine — you do not have to have bought the machine from us to get it fixed.

What We Work On

We cover LaserJet, Color LaserJet Enterprise, PageWide and OfficeJet machines, from single desktop units to machines running as shared office workhorses.

The Faults We Are Called Out For Most

  • Paper feed and pickup — worn rollers and separation pads cause most misfeeds and multi-sheet pulls. They are wear items rather than faults.
  • Fusers — on a laser device the fuser runs hot and is the most common end-of-life component. Smeared toner, jams at the exit, or a machine that simply refuses to print all point at it.
  • Print quality — streaking, banding and color drift usually trace to the imaging drum, the transfer belt, or a laser scanner that needs cleaning.
  • Network and scan-to-email — these break far more often than the hardware does, particularly after a mail server or firewall change.

A Four-Hour Response, In Writing

Most dealers quote a response time as an average, which is another way of saying that half their customers wait longer than it. Ours is a guaranteed four-hour on-site response written into the service agreement, and it is the same commitment whether the machine came from us or not.

One-Off Repair or a Service Agreement

If you have one machine and it has broken once, a one-off call-out is the sensible answer, and we quote it after diagnosing the fault rather than before. If you are running several devices, a service agreement usually costs less across a year than the call-outs it replaces, and it is what puts the four-hour response in writing. We will tell you plainly which of the two fits you.

It is also worth knowing when a repair stops being worth doing. On an older machine well past its maintenance interval, parts and labor can approach what the equipment is worth — and at that point leasing a current machine or renting one is the better spend. We would rather say so than sell you the same repair twice.

Call 888-242-4242 and tell us the make, the model and what it is doing. If there is an error code on the panel, read it to us — it often tells us which part to bring, which turns two visits into one. You can also use the form on our contact page.
