What We Lease, and What It Starts At
Epson’s WorkForce Enterprise AM-C line is business inkjet rather than laser, and the difference is worth understanding before you compare speeds. These machines have no fuser, so there is nothing to heat up. A laser device warms up before the first page of every job, and because offices print in short bursts through the day rather than in one long run, that wait is paid over and over. An AM-C starts printing straight away.
| Model range | Format and output | Lease from |
|---|---|---|
| Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500 | A3 monochrome multifunction, 55 ppm | $149/mo |
| Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-C400 / AM-C550 | A4 color multifunction, 40 and 55 ppm | $169/mo |
| Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-C4000 / C5000 / C6000 | A3 color multifunction | $169/mo |
The same design draws considerably less power than the equivalent laser — Epson rates both the monochrome and the color machines at up to 60 percent below a comparable laser, which matters if you are running several units or reporting on energy use. If your work is almost entirely black and white, the AM-M5500 is the one to ask about. If you need color, the AM-C models print black and white on the same device without penalty.
Starting figures are for a new machine on a standard lease term with service and genuine consumables included, and vary with configuration, monthly volume and credit approval. Tell us your page counts and we will quote the actual number rather than a range.
Inkjet or Laser?
Our write-up on inkjet versus laser for the office explains why the absence of a fuser matters more than the headline speed, and where laser still wins.

About Us
Why Businesses Stay With RDS Team
Most of what makes a copier company good or bad only shows up after the sale.
A guaranteed four-hour on-site response, written into the service agreement.
Not quoted as an average, which is how most dealers word it. RDS Team has served Florida businesses since 2008 and holds nearly 200 Google reviews at 4.9 out of 5.
We are an authorized dealer for Ricoh, Epson and Brother, working out of Miami and Orlando with our own technicians rather than a subcontracted service company. If a machine cannot be repaired on the spot you get a loaner the same day, and if a machine under contract cannot be repaired at all, we replace it.
Copiers, printers, managed print, interactive whiteboards and VoIP, on flexible monthly or Costsaver lease plans from $149 a month with service, parts and toner included.
No hidden fees and no separate repair bills. What the agreement says is what you pay.
