Gustavo Hermida and Mike Martin both began in 1982 — more than forty years each, over eighty between them — and first met in the mid-1990s at a large nationwide company, Gustavo a sales manager, Mike an operations manager.

Gustavo came up through business development and management: New York, Sales Manager at Ricoh Corporation, later VP of Sales at Nur Macro, now part of HP. Mike came up the other way — he started as a shop technician, worked his way up to operations manager, then founded his own company exporting the same equipment. In 2008 Gustavo walked into that office with the idea of opening a local operation, and they did.
